As a survivor of pediatric cancer, I have always been captivated by cancer research. From the intricate process of bone marrow transplants, which replace unhealthy blood-forming cells with healthy ones, to spinal taps aimed at collecting cerebrospinal fluid to detect lingering cancerous cells- every aspect intrigues me.
